The Ethereal Visage

Emerging only when the moonlight drips heavily upon the forest floor, Nokwol is a towering nightmare of breathtaking sorrow. Standing at nearly 3 meters, its pallid flesh is framed by cascading silver hair. From its crown sprout horns reminiscent of twisted branches, glowing with an otherworldly verdant light. Its eyes mirror a pale, full green moon. Do not look for footprints; this apparition glides, leaving behind nothing but a spectral green mist and a shadow that drapes over it like an endless, dark cloak.

The Curse of the Eclipse

The true horror of Nokwol lies not in physical violence, but in its dark artistry of the mind. Using the Lunar Eclipse Illusion, it plunges trespassers into a labyrinth of their own deepest regrets. As clouds swallow the moon, its phantasms grow indistinguishable from reality. It weaves through the shadows seamlessly, teleporting to whisper forgotten sorrows into the ears of the lost.

* Beware: Nokwol fears the piercing ring of clear bells and the purging light of dawn. On moonless nights, it is rendered nearly powerless.

Whispers of the Forest

"When the arrogant monk raised his axe against the Moonlit Divine Tree, the sky birthed a green moon. Since then, the woods devour the liars."

Lore dictates that Nokwol does not spill blood. Instead, those who wander back from its realm hours later return with hollow eyes, their faces aged decades in mere days, stripped entirely of their identity. Yet, the old hermits whisper a secret: if a heart harboring only absolute truth meets Nokwol, the monstrous guardian will part the shadows, bowing slightly to grant safe passage and unexpected fortune.
